Education and Training
£20 - £30 Per hour
Responsibilities:
* Deliver tailored English and Maths tuition to Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Create engaging lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles and abilities
* Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
* Provide a supportive and nurturing learning environment
* Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure student success
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
* Experience working with students with SEMH needs
* Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
* Strong classroom management skills
* Passion for supporting students with SEMH needs
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN)
* Experience with online teaching platforms
Additional Information:
