About the team… Our Finance team have seen some amazing growth in the last 2 years, helping them take charge of the increased information flow to an increased number of stakeholders and suppliers, after some phenomenal acquisitions and with future growth in mind. About the day to day… This is a brand-new position reporting into the Treasury Accountant. As a Treasury Assistant, you will be critical to owning reconciliation processes for both the group and client accounts, as well as supporting the administrative processes surrounding bank accounts. You’ll get stuck into a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including: Reconciling all bank accounts across the group accurately Supporting the finance team with posting transactions through the bank accurately, ensuring all cash transactions are appropriately recognized in the financial accounts Taking responsibility for processing transfers between bank accounts to cover payments due and to earn interest on surplus funds Reconciling all client accounts across the group and supporting with reporting on client accounts to the risk team, ensuring compliance with client money controls and regulations Supporting with business acquisitions from a banking perspective including liaising with banks and management Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial regulations Supporting the provision of information for the annual external audit Building relationships with key stakeholders and working closely with other members of the finance team The role will also be designed to help you grow and develop through your career journey.
