As a Hospital Out of Hours Practitioner, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective safe clinical care is delivered outside of normal working hours within Kings Mill Hospital.
️ Your Responsibilities Include:
✨ Providing strong clinical leadership within a multi-professional team.
✨ Offering advice, support, guidance, and education to nursing and Junior medical staff.
✨ Being a role model and expert practitioner.
✨ Responding to critical issues, Acute response and Cardiac Arrest calls as part of the Hospital Out of Hours team.
✨ Ensuring prompt support and effective clinical assessment/treatment.
✨ Developing advanced assessment skills and knowledge.
✨ Expanding professional practice in line with nursing professional codes.
✨ Undertaking procedures like cannulations, venepuncture, catheterisation, and 12 lead ECG recordings.
✨ Collaborating closely with the Duty Nurse Manager.
✨ Prioritising workloads with the aid of Nerve Centre.
