Role Overview:
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathes using FANUC controls to produce precision components to exact specifications. You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency, working closely with the production team to meet tight deadlines and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes using FANUC controls.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure component accuracy.
* Troubleshoot and make adjustments to machine settings as needed.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner with proficiency in FANUC controls.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent understanding of machining techniques and materials.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in a precision engineering environment.
* Knowledge of other CNC control systems is a plus.
