We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join a busy kitchen team near Llandudno. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality dishes across various areas, with a special emphasis on fine dining restaurant services. You will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and food hygiene at all times. In the Chef de Partie role, you will be: Preparing food for all areas according to daily event, restaurant, and café orders Maintaining required hygiene standards and ensure personal equipment is kept to the necessary standard Assisting in controlling food costs through effective management of waste, purchasing, storing, and portion control Supporting the implementation of departmental training and assist with menu planning when required To be considered for the Chef de Partie role, you will need: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with a relevant catering qualification and Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (Level 3 is desirable) Strong communication skills and the ability to supervise and direct staff effectively Ability to plan, anticipate, and maintain calm under pressure, with a commitment to providing high service standards Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team Well-presented, adaptable, and highly organised with a flexible approach to the role This is a temporary position with a duration of 12 weeks. The role requires working 5 out of 7 days per week, including evenings and weekends on a rota basis. The pay rate is £13.05 per hour, plus holiday pay, with enhanced rates for weekend and bank holiday shifts. The position is based in a busy commercial kitchen environment near Llandudno, Conwy.
