This role is crucial for developing and delivering our ER Strategy and ensuring the best outcomes for our employees and the organisation. Key Responsibilities of the HR Manager – Employee Relations & Policy: • Develop and Deliver ER Strategy : Create and implement effective negotiation and consultation strategies to drive change. • Build Strong Relationships: Collaborate with Trade Union representatives and key stakeholders. • Operational and Strategic Direction: Provide guidance for ER & Policy functions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. • Lead Employee Relations Matters: Offer advice and coaching to HR teams and senior stakeholders. • Stay Legally Compliant: Keep abreast of legislative changes and ensure compliance with best practices. • Manage Policy Activities: Oversee policy sign-off and monitoring. • Support and Develop Team: Manage, coach, and inspire the ER team to achieve their best. • Promote Inclusion and Diversity: Ensure these principles underpin all ER activities. • Influence Key Decisions: Be an integral part of the People Services leadership team, shaping strategy and long-term planning.
