Reporting to: Direct Payment Employer
Location: Gosforth, Newcastle
Hours of work: There are a variety of shifts available, and you are welcome to apply for a combination of shifts to suit your availability. Hours will cover the following times, which can be discussed at interview:
* Monday to Friday 7:00am – 9:00am
* School Holidays – a variety of shifts are available, with 2:1 support provided
* Monday to Friday 9.30am – 3.30pm
* Monday 12 – 3.30pm
* Weekends all year round
* Saturday 3.30pm – 9.30pm
* Saturday 11.30am – 3.30pm
* Sunday 9.30am – 3.30pm
Rate of Pay: £12.50 per hour
Position details:
* Support young people in developing skills and confidence
* Work alongside family or other PAs to support children on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis
Nature of the role:
To support children in developing their independent living, social, and self-care skills. The position is ideal for someone interested in helping young people become more independent and gain skills for adulthood. It is a rewarding role, seeing their development and confidence grow, enabling them to enjoy activities, socialise, and lead a fulfilling life.
Participants will help them do what matters to them, participate in preferred activities, and enjoy social interactions.
