BMS Engineer Location: West London / M4 Corridor Region (with occasional travel to other sites) BladeRoom Data Centres is seeking an experienced BMS Engineer to join our team, providing expert planned preventative maintenance (PPM), call-out services, and exceptional customer support for our clients based in the West London and M4 Corridor region. This exciting opportunity involves working primarily around Farnborough, Heathrow, and Corsham, with occasional visits to other sites on a quarterly basis. While you'll be stationed in the primary area, the role does require flexibility, as you may rotate through different locations for cover. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Carry out regular BMS PPM tasks on client sites to ensure systems are fully operational. Manage Subcontractors: Coordinate and oversee subcontractor resource to ensure the effective completion of tasks. Issue Troubleshooting: Identify and solve software and hardware issues efficiently. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, including control setup and network configuration. Resolution Tracking: Monitor control system issues through to resolution within agreed timeframes. Escalation: If necessary, escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams, such as software engineers. Customer Feedback: Provide prompt, accurate, and clear feedback and reporting to clients, ensuring they are informed of progress and resolutions. Technical Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on all technical issues, solutions, and troubleshooting steps. Prioritisation & Follow-up: Manage multiple issues simultaneously while prioritising urgent matters and ensuring follow-up with clients to verify resolution. Person Specification: Knowledge & Experience: Proven work experience as a BMS Engineer. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with a methodical approach. Experience with Tridium AX & N4 (essential). Knowledge of BMS facility management software (desirable). Experience in providing step-by-step technical support, both written and verbal.
