About the role:As the Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA), you will be responsible for developing and delivering confidential high-quality outreach and advocacy services and support services to victims/survivors experiencing domestic violence and abuse at the highest risk levels living in the community.
You will also work within a multi-agency framework which includes MARAC and local partnership responses to DA.
Within this role you will work as part of a fantastic team, participating in the running of the project to ensure effective and efficient and confidential service delivery to Panahghar users.
You will ensure that any issues in relation to the safeguarding of children or vulnerable adults are responded to in line with Panahghar policies and procedures, including completing Child Protection, and MARAC referrals.
This is not your normal 9am to 5pm job, as you will be managing a high number of caseloads, we will require someone who is flexible and who understands the nature of this role. Thus, you will be working out of hours or at nights due to the nature of the role.
