Working as a member of a dynamic Professional Services team at the College of the Social Sciences, the Project Officer will provide comprehensive project support to the Urban Big Data Centre (UBDC) across research grants held by the Centre, as well as other projects as required.
The successful candidate will join UBDC, and the role will provide the opportunity to play an integral part in the success of several important projects, liaising closely with project partners in the UK and internationally. The role will be varied, and duties will include end-to-end project management, project delivery monitoring, organisation of events and capacity building programmes, external communications, coordinating project reports, planning and organisation of board meetings, and other high-level administrative duties as required.
This post is based at the UBDC, within the College of Social Sciences at the University of Glasgow. The postholder will work closely with the UBDC Director and Deputy Director and report to the Research Operations Manager, as part of the College of Social Sciences Management and Professional team.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and has funding available until 30th April 2027 in the first instance.
