Renfrewshire Council is seeking to recruit Clerical and Administration Modern Apprentices. Our Clerical and Administration Modern Apprentices will primarily be based in various Council establishments across Renfrewshire (depending on current vacancies). Some apprentices may be expected to use a hybrid work model which will involve working at home. Modern Apprentices will earn attractive salaries while working towards a SCQF Level 6 Scottish Vocational Qualification. You will undertake an SVQ in Business Administration at SCQF Level 6 over a 12 month period and you will learn the skills required to work within an office environment including good communication skills, team working skills as well as the ability to work on your own initiative. You will be trained on any bespoke computer based systems and have the opportunity to work within an exciting, ever-changing environment. It is essential that applicants have achieved a minimum of two Highers at grade C or above (or that they can clearly evidence achievement of equivalent comparable qualifications or can clearly evidence recent relevant work experience in a business and administration role). \nIt is essential that applicants can evidence a good standard of numeracy and literacy, have good communication skills, have the ability to work as part of a team or on their own initiative.
