As we continue to develop and enhance our in house residential service for children with disabilities we currently have a vacancy for a part time cook at our home in Burton upon Trent. Our new increased pay range recognises the challenging nature of the role. Working hours vary but will be between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday. This role is 17 hours per week. Main Responsibilities You will : work within the children's home, providing home cooked meals for children with a range of dietary needs including allergens. be planning menus, ordering food within budgets and assisting the young people with independent skills. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for an experienced cook who will: engage with the young people to encourage healthy eating understand dietary and allergen needs. plan meals in advance.
