Finatal is partnering with a high-growth SaaS business in London, backed by a leading private equity firm. With ambitious plans for expansion, including organic growth and potential acquisitions, this is a pivotal opportunity to play a key role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and driving its success during an exciting phase of transformation.
Role Overview:
As Interim FP&A Manager, you will lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing key insights and advanced financial modelling to support growth initiatives, forecasting, and decision-making. You will report directly to the CFO and collaborate closely with senior leadership, ensuring financial processes and strategies align with the company’s ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
* Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support strategic planning and scenario analysis
* Analyse business performance metrics, including revenue growth and key SaaS KPIs (MRR, ARR, LTV, churn), and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders
* Support M&A activities by modelling potential acquisitions and assessing their financial impact
* Assist in cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and risk analysis
* Streamline financial processes and reporting, ensuring alignment with private equity standards
* Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and business growth
Qualifications & Experience:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Proven experience in FP&A or financial modelling roles, ideally within a SaaS or PE-backed business
* Strong understanding of SaaS financial metrics and private equity dynamics
* Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with BI tools or ERP systems is a plus
* Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable format
* Highly adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
* Must be willing to be in the office 3 days a week (hybrid working model)
