Job summary An exciting opportunity has become available within the Urgent Emergency Care Division for a full-time Band 5 Registered Nurse. The job is based in the Acute Assessment Unit and Ambulatory Care Unit at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon which provides a huge wealth of opportunity to learn new skills. Main duties of the job As a band 5 working in both the Acute Assessment Unit and Ambulatory Care, you will be responsible for the assessment and care of acutely ill patients at the beginning of their journey in the hospital. The role also involves arranging transfer of patients to the appropriate wards, facilitating discharges and working alongside the multi-disciplinary team. In Ambulatory Care you will attend to patient coming in as both emergency day cases for assessment and treatment as well as planned cases for ongoing treatments and review.
