The B2 Licenced Engineer will carry out all scheduled tasks as assigned by the Duty Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor in accordance with the approved maintenance documentation. You must demonstrate applicable technical knowledge of aircraft and possess the hand skills required to carry out tasks assigned. Competence in the use of aircraft maintenance documentation, in addition to computer-based reporting and recording systems, is essential. You will also supervise small teams as required by the operation and work requirements.
What you need to do the role
1. Hold UK Part 66 B2 license and authorisation or equivalent on company aircraft.
2. Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation.
3. Ideally have a minimum of 3 years operational experience in a line maintenance environment.
4. Proven ability to communicate issues to management with a high degree of customer focus – both internal and external.
5. Work effectively in a team, as well as independently, at all levels of the organisation.
6. Willingness to be flexible in order to meet deadlines and overcome operational problems, embrace change, and drive improvements within the business.
7. Demonstrate a working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.

Location & Hours of Work
This full-time role will be based in Luton, working DD NN 12-hour shifts. The shift pattern will be 4x4 with occasional travel requirements to easyJet’s headquarters or network locations.
