What You'll Do
1. Lead and develop site and workshop teams, ensuring skills development and succession planning.
2. Oversee infrastructure improvements, ensuring equipment and facilities meet evolving business needs.
3. Implement lean and efficient ways of working, identifying opportunities for process and cost improvements.
4. Develop and track key performance metrics.
5. Work closely with senior management to influence investment decisions and long-term strategy.
What You'll Bring
1. Minimum 3 years' experience in a management role within engineering/manufacturing.
2. Strong leadership skills with experience in HR, recruitment, training, and team development.
3. Understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
4. Knowledge of H&S, regulations and standards (LOLER, PUWER, ISO standards, etc).
5. HNC (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
6. Excellent communication, commercial awareness, and problem-solving abilities.
7. ERP system implementation experience.
