Job Purpose: As a PCB/Electrical Assembly Operative, you will play a vital role in supporting the Assembly Department by ensuring the highest level of precision and efficiency in the production of electronic products and instrumentation. Key Responsibilities: Assembly of PCBs, electro-mechanical sub-assemblies, optical and lens components, and final instrumentation, using soldering irons, light electrical tools, and a variety of hand tools. Assisting with optical alignment, instrument testing, calibration, and final product sign-off and packaging. Ensuring compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, while maintaining high housekeeping and 5S standards. Key Accountabilities: Accurate and timely assembly and processing of products. Providing updates on work orders and reporting any issues that arise. Supporting Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to optimize product flow through the business. Flexibility to adapt to different functions and tasks as required. Key Competencies: Initiative: Proactively taking ownership of tasks and following through without needing to be asked. Dexterity: Ability to perform precise manual tasks with a high level of skill. Communication: Clear and effective communication with both the immediate team and other departments. Qualifications & Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office/O365. Previous experience in assembly, with experience in testing and calibration considered advantageous. Strong commitment to quality, initiative, and self-motivation. Excellent communication skills for collaboration across teams.
