Are you a skilled and driven leader ready to make a significant impact? We're searching for a Transformation Lead to spearhead our Unsecured Lending Change team. This pivotal role is embedded within our Unsecured Lending business area, focusing on delivering our ambitious Credit Cards and Personal Loans change roadmap.
As the Transformation Lead, you'll guide a focused and energetic team dedicated to achieving the best possible customer and commercial outcomes across our product suite. We're looking to enhance our team with individuals who possess the right skills and mindset to continue hitting our goals and delivering our exciting change portfolio. In this role, you'll be at the heart of both technical and business change, fostering collaboration within the team and with key partners across the organization, including the COO, third-party service providers, and our Cards mobile app delivery teams. What You’ll be Doing
* Strategic Planning: Shape and align strategic plans for Unsecured Lending, ensuring timely delivery of programmes.
* Change Portfolio Leadership: Lead and deliver the Change portfolio with budget responsibility, acting as an SME and ensuring quality and timely delivery through all project phases.
* Expertise Application: Apply internal and external change methodologies to ensure quality and compliance, staying updated on market changes and regulations.
* Performance Management: Set and drive individual and team goals to exceed business objectives, focusing on development and performance management.
* Resource Management: Balance permanent and contract resources, ensuring knowledge transfer and development.
* Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Unsecured Lending Change & Delivery function, ensuring strategic objectives are met and risks managed.
* Budget Management: Manage Unsecured Lending Change expenses, ensuring value for money and cost reduction.
* Solution Architecture Support: Contribute to strategic direction and ensure systems and suppliers meet business needs.
* Solution Assurance: Define testing objectives and approve testing results.
* Customer Focus: Ensure all activities are customer-centric and comply with FCA guidelines.
* Control Framework: Maintain an effective control framework to ensure safety and compliance.
* Brand Advocacy: Promote the Unsecured Lending business and Virgin Money brand internally and externally.
* Innovation and Culture: Drive innovation, inclusivity, and high performance within the team, ensuring adherence to new working practices and supporting colleague wellbeing.
We Need you to Have
* Extensive Experience: Over 5 years of managing diverse delivery teams for large, complex programmes.
* Change Delivery: Proven ability to deliver change efficiently and innovatively to solve business problems.
* Leadership: Skilled in leading senior managers and multidisciplinary teams.
* Methodologies: Proficient in AGILE, Six Sigma, Prince 2, and Waterfall methodologies across the entire change lifecycle.
* Risk Management: Experienced in balancing risk and reward, influencing senior leaders, and ensuring successful project delivery.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Project and Visio.
* Strategic Leadership: Capable of leading strategic projects, problem-solving, and simplifying complex logic.
* Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for complex processes and financial analysis.
* Interpersonal Skills: Excellent at communicating with senior executives.
* Credit Card Systems: Proficient in complex systems like TSYS TS2, Experian products, MasterCard, Broadcom, Oracle, and other leading financial services software.
* Financial Services Knowledge: Extensive knowledge in Financial Services and Consumer Lending to improve solutions and outcomes.
* Payments Industry: Deep understanding of the credit card domain, including key payment schemes such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
