Director of Commerce & Industry at Marks Sattin
A high-growth organisation within the business services sector has expanded rapidly over the last few years and is looking for a new Financial Controller to support senior management and the wider leadership team.
Responsibilities include:
* Production of the monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow)
* Present management reporting packs to company shareholders and directors
* Cashflow management and forecasting
* Budgeting & Forecasting processes
* Manage and develop the Accounts Assistant in the team and oversee their work
* Oversight of month end journals including accruals and prepayments, and accrued revenue journals
* Oversee the accounts payable and receivable function including overseeing payment runs, reconciliations, client onboarding, billing, credit control and more.
* Statutory filings – provide back up for annual accounts, confirmation statements, tax returns
* Additional ad-hoc duties and analysis to support the wider team and business
The ideal candidate will be qualified ACA (or equivalent) with experience in industry after Practice. Candidates should have good working knowledge of management reporting and broad finance experience from an SME background would be beneficial.
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, with good cash flow management and Excel capabilities.
