Job summary We are delighted to advertise for a passionate and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our pharmacy team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This post for Senior Clinical Pharmacist - Women & Children will lead the pharmacy team within Women & Children, and work closely with paediatric, neonatal and maternity services to provide outstanding medicines management and medicines optimisation, as well as leadership and service development. The role will encompass input into delivery of effective clinical and operational pharmacy services and ensuring patient safety within the designated divisions. Main duties of the job The successful candidates will work full time hours 8.30am-5pm Monday - Friday. They will also be included in dispensary and extended/out-of-hours rotas, which are currently: 1 day weekend working once every 5 weeks (reimbursed with a weekday off the following week) 1 'late night' shift every 2 weeks (working hours 9am-5.30pm) On call duties on a rolling rota basis, approximately 1 in 60 Note condensed and flexible working is also available as per trust policy.The pharmacy department at South Tees hosts over 220 members of staff and provides a stimulating, friendly, and professionally rewarding environment for staff to develop their clinical expertise and professionalism.
