IT Assistant, IT SHIFT PATTERN (e.g. 40 hours, 5 days per week) We’re looking for a IT Assistant to join our vibrant and dynamic IT team. As a IT Assistant at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, you will be responsible for: Have a solid understanding of workstations, servers and network infrastructure, mostly under Microsoft platforms. Provides Hotel Guests and Colleagues with 1st Line technical support Assembles and configures network components and associated services Establishes network users, user environments, directories, and security for networks being installed Installs, upgrades and configures network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software and files services Upgrades network hardware and software components as required Be able to troubleshoot all sorts of IT related issues, both internal and with vendors. Communications skills with both guests and colleagues. As a IT Assistant, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, evening, (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable. To be a successful IT Assistant candidate, you must have: basic knowledge on systems integration, Active directories, wiring setups, testing and maintaining the DRP, BCP, HSIA and IRES Systems in the hotel.
