Gathering over 40 years of experience, they specialise in delivering multidiscipline schemes across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Their extensive portfolio includes large-scale engineering projects in sectors such as water and wastewater treatment, flood engineering, sheet piling, renewables, and bespoke projects. Your new role This role will involve being responsible for overseeing all operational duties on site, managing engineers, subcontractors, budgets, programming, and client liaison. Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to: Planning and executing project activities to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain seamless project execution. Managing project budgets and ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Developing and maintaining project schedules and timelines. Liaising with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Implementing risk management strategies and addressing any issues or delays promptly. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will need to have previous experience managing similar large-scale engineering projects, preferably with experience of water or wastewater, from inception through to completion. Relevant certifications and tickets, such as CSCS, SMSTS, SSSTS will be essential. Strong leadership and communication skills are critical, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. The ability to work both in a team and of your own initiative will be required to successfully perform in this role.
