A vacancy has occurred for a Task Team Catering Assistant who is motivated and interested in providing healthy & nutritious food to our young people, while ensuring a high standard of food preparation and service is delivered & maintained.
Based at Raploch Community Campus, this is a full-time post of 35 hours, 7 hours per day, Monday to Friday. This is a mobile post, where you will be required to cover multiple locations as needed; therefore, a full clean driving license is essential.
Duties will include the preparation of food, basic cooking, food service, kitchen hygiene, and health and safety, ensuring compliance with the Food Safety Act, Health & Safety at Work Act, and subsequent legislation.
Experience in catering is essential; on-the-job training will be provided along with compulsory off-job training.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
