Workingfor this reputable building services practice based in West Kent,you would be travelling throughout Kent visiting clients and wouldbe required to attend the office in Sevenoaks attimes.
As the Building Services DesignEngineer, you will be responsible for designing and managingmechanical systems for a variety of projects.
Your role will involve everything fromconducting site surveys to collaborating with clients and designteams to deliver innovative and efficientsolutions.
Your duties would include but notbe limited to:
- Collaborate with clients anddesign teams to establish mechanical requirements
-Conduct site surveys to assess project needs and assist in pricinginstallation works
- Research and apply the latestengineering methods and technologies
- Document designprocesses and prepare technical reports
- Manage projecttimelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successfuldelivery
- Liaise with clients, designers, engineers, andmanufacturers for project coherence
- Stay updated onindustry advancements and design trends
- Present designproposals to clients and external teams
WhatWe're LookingFor
Essential:
-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relatedfield
- Minimum of 5 year's experience as a MechanicalDesign Engineer
- Strong knowledge of design principlesand best practices
- Proficiency in design software suchas AutoCAD
- Excellent problem-solving, time management,and communication skills
- Chartered Engineerstatus.
- Experience in designing HVAC, Air Source/GroundSource Heat Pumps, and related systems
