The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to continue your career in a growing IT department within the leading global outside broadcasting company. The purpose of this IT Support Specialist position is to help support the IT infrastructure and employee-related IT support cases for all of NEP UK & Ireland and selected European offices.
As your position and knowledge progresses, you will also have the opportunity to assist our System Administrators with infrastructure related projects/tasks within a primarily Microsoft environment supporting 600+ users.
Responsibilities
* Provide first and second line technical support to employees of varied IT-skill levels.
* Operate and maintain all corporate computer systems and corporate cloud environment.
* Perform systems and security monitoring and take mitigating action as required.
* Perform regular data patches and software updates as required.
* Work with vendors and support engineers to resolve service outages or disruptions.
* Ensure IT tasks or projects are accomplished within the designated timeframe.
* Configure, deploy, and maintain local and remote IT equipment.
* Maintain an accurate inventory of the corporate IT assets.
* Deploy new hardware and software solutions.
* Assist with the planning, documentation, and execution of IT projects.
* Assist in creating formal documentation of IT processes and procedures.
* Provide subject matter training for company personnel.
* Maintain accurate records and regularly communicate timely status update reports.
* Attend and contribute to regular department, staff meetings, or technical group discussions.
* Contribute to team effort by performing assigned duties and other duties as assigned.
* If required, be prepared to work evenings or weekends if necessary.
* Other duties as assigned.
Skills / Qualifications
* Excellent communication and customer service skills along with well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Bachelor's Degree (BA) or 2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Computer skills required: proficient knowledge of IT hardware, Desktop/Server Operating systems, networking essentials, and sound ability to practice IT security fundamentals.
* Software skills required: Microsoft Office 365; Dropbox, Box, Adobe Suites, MS Teams; the following would also be beneficial: OKTA, Crowdstrike, Proofpoint, PTRG, Bomgar, ServiceNOW, Datto, Bitlocker, Intune, Autopilot, and Apple Mac OS.
* Experience with system management tools, logical file systems, and client/server environments.
