Location : Birmingham Hours : 40 hours per week What will you be responsible for? As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, enabling accurate assessment of subcontractor accounts while liaising with the client, internal operational teams and subcontractor representatives. Your day to day will include: Assisting in preparing of cost plans and budgets for civil engineering schemes, including design, creating tender documents, such as bills of quantities, rates, or schedules, monitoring project expenses and reporting significant price fluctuations Administration of subcontractor accounts, procurement and cost control Valuing completed work and preparing client valuations, arranging payments to suppliers and subcontractors, preparing final accounts and providing advice on costs Identifying and analysing commercial risks Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations What are we looking for?
