If your experience has been in the litigation field then this role as a Legal Assistant could be perfect for you. It’s a stand-alone role where you will manage your own client cases.
Some of your duties will include:
* Managing a portfolio of litigation cases from instigation stage to completion
* Dealing with debt matters, breach of contract, Landlord and Tenant, and some personal cases
* Arranging meetings with clients to take instructions and to keep them up to date with their cases
* Completing legal research on applicable regulations and laws
* Drafting correspondence, legal documentation, contracts, and pleadings for clients and other parties
* Supporting Lawyers and Barristers in handling cases and preparing for hearings and trials
