Senior Compliance Manager - Policy and Advisory- Salary circa £70,000
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Compliance Manager to join our newly established Group Compliance Monitoring and Reporting team! This is a fantastic role for a proactive team player with strong stakeholder management skills, with extensive experience working in an FCA regulated environment in a compliance / conduct risk position. A bit about the job:
You will support the Head of Group Compliance and Conduct Policy and Advisory and Group Compliance and Conduct Director such that the function operates effectively, adds value and makes a valued and trusted contribution across the organisation.
You will be responsible for strategic partnering with Group Functions, providing strategic and pragmatic regulatory compliance and conduct advice, guidance, and challenge in support of the achievement of the function's objectives. You will collaborate with markets on the delivery of high impact regulatory programmes and assist in developing policies and standards which support the firm's regulatory responsibilities and strategic objectives.
You will contribute to the development of Group Policies, Frameworks and Standards so they are thought leading, supporting Markets and Group Functions in driving forward their business underpinned by an appropriate, risk based, control environment.
You will develop and providing training on Compliance and Conduct topics, and to support understanding and embedding of Conduct policies, standards and frameworks, establishing a reputation as a SME who is commercially minded and pragmatic.
You will partner with all corporate functions on Regulatory Compliance and Conduct matters, which also includes liaising with relevant teams on compliance and conduct aspects of transformational programmes and with the SMCR Office, as required, on SMCR matters.
You will partner with Brand and Corporate affairs as their Risk Partner, including on the management of reputation risk.
With deep regulatory knowledge, you will be proactive in keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes, industry trends and best practices, assessing their impact to ensure that they are appropriately integrated into the organization's compliance policies, standards, frameworks and training.
You are passionate about supporting the delivery of good customer outcomes through all activities and deliverables, enabling us to act in good faith towards customers, avoid causing foreseeable harm and enable and support our customers to pursue their financial objectives.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
* Depth of regulatory compliance and conduct risk experience within an FCA regulated environment is essential.
* Strong relationship building and collaboration skills; able to work constructively with and influence stakeholders - experience working in a consulting / advisory role is preferred.
* Curiosity and experience in developing methodologies and frameworks.
* Experienced in (or curiosity and willingness to learn about) using data to inform and better target our work.
* Strong programme and project management skills and experience.
* Tenacious and proactive, with a willingness to work collaboratively, independently and as part of a team, as required

* Salary circa £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
