Service Team Manager – Customer Payments

Role overview:
In this role you will be working within a high performing team to deliver exceptional service for our customers by supporting with payment processes.
What you’ll do:
1. Lead, motivate and develop a team within customer payments by understanding performance, completing observations and engaging positively with your team.
2. Work with third parties, outsourcers and other teams throughout Bupa that support with our payment processes.
3. Use data and MI to manage, prioritise, and allocate work.
4. Engage with feedback from your team to deliver on continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Support with internal and external audits and work with our internal risk and governance teams ensuring all risks are logged and appropriately managed.
6. Complete regular reviews of claims payments and conduct approvals for payments.
What you’ll bring:
1. Previous experience of managing front-line employees within either a front line or back office function is required.
2. Strong planning and time management is essential to manage competing priorities.
3. Positive and proactive attitude; self-motivation with a ‘can do’ approach.
4. Strong business acumen and the ability to apply these skills to manage external and internal customers effectively.
5. Strong skills in using data and data systems to generate improvements.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
