PA (Contract) Job Type: FTC (1 year) Location: Edinburgh Working Hours: Full-time Salary: Up to £32,000 (Depending on Experience) We are working on behalf of a prestigious client in Edinburgh who is seeking a Temporary PA for a 12-month term to support their Property team. The successful candidate will provide effective and efficient PA, administrative, and secretarial support to fee earners in the Property Division. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Produce accurate correspondence, documentation, and presentations using software such as Word, Excel, PDF Docs/Adobe, PowerPoint, and dictation software. Manage client and matter opening and closing in accordance with the firm’s processes, including liaising with Finance and AML teams, conducting conflict checks, and producing letters of engagement. Handle diary management, including checking weekly, monthly, and annual commitments, room bookings, catering, and IT support. Manage email accounts, including review and management of partner inboxes and those of fee earners who are absent. Attend and take notes at Team Meetings and assist in ensuring fee earners complete agreed tasks. Conduct Active Matter reviews with fee earners for regular billing and payment of invoices. Manage the invoice production process and handle queries regarding invoices, including managing client purchase orders. Undertake filing, scanning, photocopying, and binding as necessary. Deal with clients and contacts, providing assistance and redirection as required. Plan and manage travel and hotel arrangements, update diaries with travel details, and reclaim expenses. Manage contact information for clients and contacts, including updating the CMS/Marketing database. Undertake ad hoc administration tasks such as organising team training. Manage the team’s paper storage, including indexing and managing local and off-site storage. Liaise with support teams including Finance, Facilities, Reception, Marketing and Communication, IT. Provide support to the wider PA group as required. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Previous experience as a PA or executive assistant.
