Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour.
Day shifts: 06:00 - 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00 (35 hours per week) on a rota basis with weekends included.
Due to a genuine occupational requirement, we are looking to recruit male workers that hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence for this particular role. (Must have held licence for 3 years)

You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, you’ll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.
Our teams provide care and support for individuals with different conditions at Priory sites all across the UK.
It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people’s lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support. Not only is full training provided, but there are numerous career pathways available to you, including our Nurse Apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities:
Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing and eating
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes
Cooking and preparation of food
Assistance and support to attend medical appointments (Must Drive)
Supporting with administering medication (full training provided)
Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff
Encouragement to participate in social and recreational activities
Qualifications and Skills:
Full UK manual driving licence (Essential)
Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature
Empathy, understanding and patience
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
Ability to understand and follow policies and procedure
The ability to anticipate and respond to challenges
Competent in verbal and written English
A healthcare qualification is desirable, but not essential

Additional Information
Brunswick House is located in the area of Wednesbury, in the West Midlands. Our home is located in a suburban area, off a main road. The service offers residential support for five adults, including those with a learning disability, people on the autism spectrum, and individuals with mental health needs. We specialise in supporting individuals who may be stepping down from a hospital setting, have complex needs, or require behavioural support. Our aim is to support residents to gain the skills they need to live active and fulfilled lives in the community.
