Responsibilities:
* Manage all Mechanical aspects of projects from concept to completion, providing technical expertise and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
* Champion safety excellence throughout the project lifecycle, developing and implementing health and safety policies.
* Develop and review detailed Mechanical designs, ensuring integration with other systems.
* Monitor project budgets and programmes, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
* Review Mechanical designs for compliance with codes, standards, and regulations, ensuring quality deliverables.
* Identify, assess, and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies.
* Understand project requirements, present technical solutions, and manage client expectations.
* Work with other engineering disciplines, mentor junior engineers, and foster a collaborative environment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* IOSH / SMSTS
* CSCS
Preferable but not essential:
* ONC/HNC/ NVQ L3/L4 Building Services.
* Project Management or Engineering Degree
Experience:
* 10+ years of experience in Mechanical services engineering.
* Strong understanding of codes, standards, and regulations. HTM knowledge would be beneficial.
* Excellent project management and leadership skills.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex engineering projects.
* Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
