Role: Speech & Language Therapist Banding: Band 6 Location: Hounslow Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £40,000.00 - £47,000.00 per annum The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our specialist day college dedicated to supporting autistic young people aged 16-25. As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will help students learn, thrive, achieve, and belong. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of specialists who contribute to personalized learning plans and targets. Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist: You will contribute to the planning, adaptation, monitoring, and reporting of pupils’ personalized plans. You will assess and review learners’ speech, language, and communication needs in line with the assessment cycle. You will use specialist knowledge to recommend and develop individualized aids and adaptations to support speech, language, and/or communication. You will collaborate with other professionals within the trans-disciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate targets and programs. You will provide advice and guidance on the development of employability skills and access to work placement opportunities.
