Prospero Teaching is looking for a Key stage 3 tutor to deliver individual specialist tuition to Primary students who are currently out of education, requiring assistance with GCSE Maths and English. As a tutor, you will promote and support the education of children, many of these will require additional support, and perhaps even at risk of permanent exclusion. You will be required to focus on boosting progress, confidence and independence, offering structure into their daily routine. Location - Romford Position - KS3 Tutor Type of work - Contract Start date - ASAP Duration / Likely Duration - Until the student is reintegrated into school. End date (if applicable) - Ongoing Contract type - Temporary Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability Rate of Pay - £25 per hour Hours - Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent 6 months experience working in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
