Henwick is a 4-bed supported living service in the St Johns area of Worcester, providing support for young adults with learning disabilities to achieve their personal goals, reach their full potential and to live wonderfully normal lives in their local community and own home. The individuals we will be supporting love to go out and about, enjoying shopping sprees, trips to the cinema and music venues, holidays and much much more! Attending college, work placements, or meeting up with friends, the people we support want to live their best life, and are looking for a dynamic, caring and friendly support team to enable them to do this.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality, enabling care. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, making this a truly fulfilling role. You'll be key in helping us achieve our goal of being the best in the field.
Responsibilities:
1. Individual Outcome and Wellbeing: Implement person-centered support plans, promote independence, manage risks, encourage relationships, and ensure legal and best practice compliance.
2. Activity Planning: Develop flexible, engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth.
3. Health and Lifestyle: Support individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing their health needs.
4. Communication: Facilitate effective communication and maintain detailed, person-centered records.
5. Medication Management: Oversee medication processes and support individuals in self-administration.
6. Safety and Environment: Maintain a safe, clean-living environment and adhere to health and safety protocols.
