Description
We are seeking a skilled 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support for both our internal operations and managed service provider (MSP) clients.
This exciting role involves handling internal infrastructure support while delivering exceptional service to external clients through multiple support channels and contributing to diverse IT projects.
The Role
We expect this person to have experience in:
1. Providing 1st/2nd line technical support, including resolving queries via phone, email, and remotely while managing tickets on the Autotask Service Desk system.
2. Documenting IT infrastructure, including network topology, hardware, software, firewalls, and backups, and conduct audits and license management.
3. Managing application deployment, corporate antivirus/firewall solutions, and patch management for desktops and servers.
4. Performing system administration and project work for clients, individually or as part of a team, while identifying opportunities to improve and secure infrastructure.
5. Sharing knowledge within the team to enhance technical expertise and client understanding.
The Person
We expect this person to have a background in:
1. Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure Active Directory.
2. Experience with Microsoft Intune, Conditional Access, MDM, backup technologies, and cloud services like SharePoint/OneDrive.
3. Proficiency in networking (WAN/LAN), firewalls, VPN solutions, and hardware support, with knowledge of virtual desktop/server technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix).
4. Skilled in Office 365 migrations, installations, and support, with MSP experience supporting diverse clients and technologies.
5. Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with a service-driven, proactive approach and a commitment to ongoing learning.
