Job Title: Atlassian Support Engineer

What you'll be doing:
* Administer and maintain the Atlassian suite of tools, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo and associated plugins/add-ons.
* Provide world-class technical support to our Atlassian users.
* Test and evaluate new product versions to ensure they are ready for release.
* Install, upgrade, and configure Atlassian tools, ensuring they are up to date and free from any known security vulnerability.
* Monitor the performance, availability, and security of Atlassian applications, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise.
* Manage user access and permissions, ensuring appropriate levels of access are granted and maintained in accordance with organisational policies.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest Atlassian product releases, updates, and new features, and evaluate their potential impact and benefits for the organisation.
Your skills and experiences:
* Good experience in the administration of Atlassian toolsets.
* Proficiency in configuring and customizing tools.
* Comfortable with managing the infrastructure that Atlassian sits on.

The Specialist Application Support Team:
The team works as part of the wider IM&T function and provides many opportunities to diversify and advance within the function and the wider Submarines business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who likes developing innovative digital solutions in a customer-facing role, working as part of a larger support team to solve problems and have a direct impact on the submarines build programme.
