Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Job Type: Full-time Location: Liverpool About Us: Leader Recruitment Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager on behalf of our client for a new Ofsted-registered children's residential home in Liverpool. The home will support up to 3 young people, providing therapeutic care in a nurturing environment. Benefits: Casual dress Company events Company pension Employee assistance program Free on-site parking Key Responsibilities: As the Registered Manager, you will: Lead and manage the home, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. Build a child-centred therapeutic environment, promoting positive outcomes for children. Develop and supervise a skilled and motivated staff team, ensuring they have the training and support needed to excel. Establish strong relationships with multi-agency teams and stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for young people. Manage safeguarding, care planning, risk assessments, and service governance. Ensure the home is always ready for Ofsted inspections, maintaining high standards of care. Requirements: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards it. At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Manager in an Ofsted-regulated children's home rated "Good" or above. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including Children's Act 1989/2004, and safeguarding best practices. Proven experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviours, including emotional, mental health, and behavioural difficulties. A full UK Driving Licence is preferred.
