Purchase and Finance Assistant - 6-month contract Salary: £28,000 - £30,000\n\nBased in Richmond\n\nHybrid - 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home \n\nA global Hospitality/Construction Group within the health and well being sector based in Richmond is looking to recruit a Purchase and Finance Assistant to join their growing team. This role supports the AP Manager and general finance team with the current (10+) UK and global entities.\n\nThis is a 6-month contract initially with the possibility of the position going permanent. \n\nResponsibilities:\n\nAdministration of purchase ledgers for multiple entities (Capture and filing of invoices, loading to Concur for approval, uploading to Xero)\nLiaising with business users on any issues or problems\nCollate information for fortnightly supplier payment runs and checking and maintaining bank details\nAssist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations\nAssist with monthly travel reports to support invoicing\nAssist with the administration of Concur and Xero for employee data, new suppliers and project codes\nReview expense claims to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.\nEnsure supplier onboarding processes are correctly followed\nGeneral financial administration, including scanning and filing of incoming post\nAssist with implementing new processes and making changes to current ones to ensure the efficient running of accounts payable\nGeneral financial administration for the teamKey skills and experience: \n\nExperience with Xero, SAP Concur or similar helpful\nExperienced Purchase Ledger who has experience dealing with multiple entities in the UK and globally\nGood Excel and IT skills\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\nLanguage skills (German or Romanian) an advantage but not essential\nFlexibility in a fast-changing environment and ability to adapt to changing requirements\nFinance qualifications including studying towards accounting qualifications at least close to completion of AAT ideally.Benefits: \n\n25 days holiday + Bank holidays\nPrivate healthcare\nContributory pension + death in service 4 x salary\nWorking in nice new offices in Richmond, close to the station.\nAfter 6 months' probation - the possibility of study package\nAfter 1 month of training the candidate will be able to work 1 day working from home and the rest in the office\nThe opportunity to grow and develop in timeIf you are able immediately, please apply now!!!
