What you'll be doing: You'll be accountable for the accurate and timely creation and/or processing of: Accounts Payable invoices, working with all members of the toob team Purchase Orders for approval and release to management and suppliers in line with budgets and delegated authorities Other accounts payable activities in accordance with procedures and internal controls Expense claims in accordance with policy Reviewing and reconciling all appropriate accounts within the team on a weekly/monthly schedule Providing weekly and monthly input to the cash management and forecasting process Responsible for maintaining records and reconciliations for a key supplier Collection and data entry for various financial spreadsheets Assisting the Aged Receivable team with ad-hoc tasks. What you'll bring to the role: Accounts Payable experience A high level of Excel competency and excellent numeracy and literacy skills Highly effective communication skills Organisational and time-management skills The ability to work unsupervised and also confident to work closely with the team A standards driven approach with excellent attention to detail A positive attitude and work ethic in line with our company values and can take on new ideas in the ever- changing world of a start-up company Have the confidence to offer new ideas or insights in processes or procedures to increase accuracy, efficiency and cost reductions Integrity, resilience, and honesty Have the right to work in the UK without restriction Live within a commutable distance to Portsmouth HQ with some flexibility for home working.
