We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teachers to join some dynamic teams at schools around Oxfordshire.. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage students in the world of music, fostering creativity and a lifelong love for the subject.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and practical lessons across KS3 &; KS4 (KS5 if applicable), encouraging students to develop their musical skills in performance, composition, and appreciation. This role begins March 2025.
Duties as a Music Teacher:
* Teach a range of musical skills, including instrumental performance, composition, and music theory.
* Support students in preparing for GCSE, A-Level, or BTEC Music exams (if applicable).
* Lead and develop extra-curricular activities, such as school choirs, orchestras, and bands.
* Organise music performances, concerts, and school productions.
* Use music technology and software to enhance learning (e.g. GarageBand, Sibelius, Logic Pro).
* Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
Ideal Music Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
* Experience or enthusiasm for teaching Music at secondary level.
* Strong practical skills in instrumental performance and/or music technology.
* A passion for developing students' musical abilities and creativity as a Music Teacher
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
