Now looking for a highly creative and passionate Senior 3D Concept Designer, to join the team. A fantastic opportunity to work with some of the world’s biggest health and beauty brands.
Job Role
1. Take briefs directly from clients and Account Managers
2. Lead a project by thoroughly evaluating a brief; establishing a clear understanding of the budget, timescales and other constraints involved
3. Provide guidance to the more junior team members
4. Ability to evaluate & rationalise designs to arrive at meaningful, relevant solutions through a process of creative exploration
5. Conduct research & gather insights that consider psychology and customer behaviours and translate your findings into design outputs
6. Take direction and understand the point of view of others, whilst also able to explain your own ideas effectively
7. Communicate ideas through freehand sketching, CAD modelling and visualisation
8. Experience of taking a concept through to the prototyping and development process with the manufacturing team; a hands-on/hands-ready approach is vital
9. Ability to identify new trends and innovation, from a broad range of stimulus and resources
Skills and Experience
10. Absolute passion for design and delivering exceptional retail experiences
11. Proficiency in 3DS Max/V-Ray and Adobe CC is essential; SketchUp experience would be a bonus
12. A strong commercial portfolio showcasing an extensive range of retail design and retail marketing
13. Ability to work as part of a team or independently
14. The ability to be client-facing and build strategic customer relationships
15. A thorough understanding of, (and experience working with), the materials, processes and construction methods required to execute and deliver your proposed designs
16. Proactive, adaptable & flexible to meet the demands of the industry
17. Able to present to a few or a wider audience and engage the audience in your story
18. Capable of interpreting a brand’s visual identity, producing concepts that align with the brand and resonate with the target consumer
19. Calm under pressure
