Studio Manager The Opportunity As Studio Manager you will own the bird’s eye view of what’s happening across the Creative & Content Studio and their resources. You will oversee, support and manage delivery of creative projects and day-to-day workflow. It’s essential you understand all elements of the creative process from end-to-end so you can assess requirements and advise accordingly. As the conduit between the Creative & Content Studio and the Client Services team you will understand the pressures faced by both parties and navigate challenges with diplomacy to optimise client delivery. This individual is organised, can multi-task well, is comfortable prioritising work and is deadline driven. They build relationships quickly, are a competent negotiator, an active listener and must be comfortable making decisions to alleviate pressures faced by colleagues. Your job duties are similar to those of a project manager, which enables the Creative & Content team to produce high quality work and effectively allocate the time needed to do so. As a Creative Studio Manager, you’re responsible for: • Efficiently managing studio time of the Content & Creative team, in accordance with the budget across 2 sites. London and Belfast. • Understanding the commercials of any project large or small coming into the studio. • Knowing where to place and how to schedule projects accordingly to maximise both studio time and profit margins • Organising the resourcing of all production requirements, liaising with freelancers and other 3rd parties where required • Clearly communicating the client and project needs to the Creative team to ensure that the work meets the agreed brief • Assessing, interrogating and clarifying client briefs and assigning the appropriate creative resource to a project • Proofing and reviewing designs and checking documents• Assisting on creative production when needed • Creating and implementing deadlines, project goals, expectations and workflows, to ensure a smooth production process with on-time delivery • Collaborating with Creative/Design Directors and Production Managers to ensure cross project alignment. The skills you need: • Experience of managing the workflow within a creative agency that covers all aspects of design and content production • Ability to manage the day to day running of the Creative Studio, making full use of project management and collaboration tools • Sound understanding of how brand can be applied across various manifestations • Ability to assess a brief to ensure information is adequate enabling creatives to deliver effective work • Strong attention to detail and ability to QA work • Exceptionally organised with a passion for driving and optimising resource with a continuous improvement mindset • Manage capacity across teams to ensure staffing is accurate and we are forecasting for current workload as well as projecting resource needs for new business in pipeline • Excellent people & communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally • Ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal teams and with strong commercial thinking to drive and increase efficiency • Excellent reporting skills with the ability to evaluate workflows, capacity, deliverables and service levels • A proactive, flexible & energetic team player who can work calmly under pressure whilst delivering a phenomenal attention to detail. It would be a real bonus if… • You have experience using Synergist or other similar platforms • have a high-level understanding of Motion-Design, Live Action and Editing project workflow.
