Role: Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (Rotational)
Location: The Harborne Hospital, Birmingham
Contract Type: Permanent, full time 37.5 hours Monday to Friday with requirements for on-call/weekend cover
Salary range: Competitive depending on experience and skills (with excellent benefits)
We are currently recruiting for a Rotational Specialist Clinical Pharmacist at The Harborne Hospital, part of the world's largest private healthcare group, providing award-winning primary, acute, and complex care.
The Harborne Hospital is a brand new £100 million, purpose-built 50-bed, multi-speciality private hospital that opened in January 2024. Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, it will have the deep clinical infrastructure, equipment, and facilities to deliver full clinical pathways across various specialties and sub-specialties, including Cardiology, Cancer, and Complex Surgery.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who displays positivity within a team to lead the provision and development of a high-level, responsive clinical pharmacy service. The successful candidate will be confident, with clear communication and a real focus on providing outstanding customer service. They will be versatile and flexible, happy to work across various roles and tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department. They will also be able to adhere to processes and protocols and have the ability to prioritise workload to meet department objectives.
This role will involve working in services such as Surgical, Medical, Critical Care, and Cancer Services.
What you'll bring:
* Registered with GPhC
* Specialist knowledge in antimicrobials and relevant hospital pharmacy experience
* Postgraduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent
