Job Role: Stock Administrator
Salary: Circa £23k - £26k DOE + BENEFITS
Location: Ilkeston
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am – 5:30pm (40 hours a week)
Harper Recruitment group are working in partnership with a successful engineering company who are looking for an experienced Stock Administrator to join their administration team. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks and play a vital role in managing and purchasing assets for the business and overseeing suppliers.
What will the role involve?
* Managing and purchasing assets for operational output
* Keep detailed records of all assets, including locations, condition, quarantine, maintenance, servicing and calibration in the company
* Using Excel and Hilti system to log and track data
* Communicating with onsite points of contact such as Project Managers
* Occasional travelling between offices.
* Procurement for the company, including but not limited to equipment, plant, machinery, materials, office furniture.
* General administration duties.
* The role will be split between the Ilkeston and Chesterfield office
The successful Administrator will meet the following criteria:
* Experience within asset management would be desirable
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proven administrative experience
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
* Ability to multi-task and adapt
* Driving Licence essential and use of own car
