Job Description:
As a Teacher at Yorkshire College, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of our students from diverse backgrounds. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons, fostering a supportive and positive classroom environment, and helping students achieve their academic potential. We will require proof of eligibility to work in the UK prior to appointment (a passport or other form of ID) and will also ask to see evidence of qualification. Qualifications:
-Teachers are required to have a minimum first degree.
- Have previous ESL/EFL and IELTS teaching experience and knowledge.
Working hours:
- Mondays to Fridays from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
-Demonstrate knowledge of the subject matter and pedagogical techniques.
- Develop and implement a well-structured curriculum that aligns with educational standards and meets the needs of diverse learners.
- Teachers deliver engaging and interactive lessons, presenting subject matter in a clear and comprehensible manner. They use a variety of teaching methods and techniques to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, respect, and cooperation among students.
- Regularly assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and examinations. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve. Teachers provide updates on student progress, share concerns, and collaborate to support each student's development.
- Recognising that students have varying needs and abilities, teachers adapt their teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles. They may provide extra support or enrichment to students as required.
- Teachers use engaging teaching methods, activities, and technology to keep students interested and motivated in the learning process.
- Stay up-to-date with educational trends and best practices. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues, attend staff meetings, and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Encourage and participate in extracurricular activities, clubs, or events that enrich the educational experience for students.
- Ensure a safe and secure classroom environment, following school policies and procedures and adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintaining accurate records is important. Teachers record attendance, grades, and other relevant student information, ensuring data privacy and security.
- Teachers demonstrate professionalism by adhering to ethical standards, being punctual, and conducting themselves as role models for students.
- Teachers often provide guidance and support to students, helping them navigate academic and personal challenges.
- Familiarise yourself with and adhere to emergency procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of students in case of any unforeseen events or emergencies.
- Recognise and address any safeguarding concerns or signs of vulnerability in students, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
