STG Aerospace is trusted by the Aerospace industry for emergency exit marking and cabin lighting solutions. Key responsibilities include:
* Respond to customer enquiries via e-mail and phone, prepare quotations. Ensure that all orders are processed to agreed timescales, and provide a high level of customer service. Ensure orders are input accurately in the agreed format and within agreed timescales. Other tasks include responding to customer queries within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA), processing quotes, maintaining client records, and liaising with finance for credit terms.
* Pro-actively manage and grow sales with defined customers and projects for STG. Make outbound follow-up calls to customers via telephone and e-mail. Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and pass these on to the Sales team.
* Act as a Sales business partner, working together with our internal and external sales, operations, and finance teams to support strategic and operational initiatives to accelerate revenue/bookings, increase Sales productivity, and shorten the lead-to-close cycle.
* Act as a back-up to other Internal Sales Executives in and outside of EMEA and be the first point of contact for our customers.
* Partner with sales management, review sales performance, support sales management to take appropriate action, and provide reports and analysis as requested to improve sales performance.
Desired Skills and Experience
* An organised, conscientious self-starter/team player with excellent written and oral communication skills (English language; speaking multiple languages would be a plus).
* Experience in an office administration environment (essential).
* Highly proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Sage would be an advantage.
* Demonstrated experience and proficiency in preparing, analysing, and reporting on company data – providing recommendations for action.
* Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking efficiently to a high accuracy.
* Comfortable working as a cross-trained team member in a geographically-dispersed and fast-paced international environment, able to redirect efforts easily and maintain a consistent pace.
* Outgoing and accommodating, yet able to enforce processes and standards as well as contribute to improve and build new processes.
* To be a customer advocate internally, always striving to deliver the best customer service.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, accountable team environment.
* Eager to advance or create a career in sales.
