Join Our Dynamic Team at University Hospitals of Northamptonshire!
Are you ready to make a real difference in patient care? We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant with expertise in both Intensive Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine. In this exciting, high-impact role, you'll be at the forefront of providing life-saving treatment in high-pressure environments.
Minimum Qualifications:
It is essential that the post-holder holds the FRCEM or an equivalent qualification and is on the GMC Specialist Register for both Intensive Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine, or will obtain a relevant CCT/CESR(CP) within 6 months of the interview.
If you have a passion for delivering exceptional care and thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for!
This substantive Consultant post is in Intensive Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine, therefore it crosses both services. Applicants are expected to participate actively in the development of both services as well as providing DCC to both. Supervision of resident doctors will also be required in both specialties.
It is expected that the successful applicant will work to an agreed job plan. An indicative version is shown in the table. Once appointed, applicants will have a job plan agreed in conjunction with our clinical director and theirs, on behalf of the Medical Director.
