About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant working within the College, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, empowering them to achieve their full potential. This rewarding role will include providing great person-centred support to our learners who have specific learning needs. You will promote learner independence, respect, and dignity at all times.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate working knowledge of supporting learners with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and learning difficulties. You will have a track record of working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis with students under tutor direction and possess in-depth knowledge of mobility support.
You will hold Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths, and hold the relevant professional qualifications for this role or be willing to work towards it within 3 years.
