We are seeking a friendly, professional Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support on a full-time basis within one of our partner schools based in Braintree. This role is to start as soon as possible and will be a permanent employment. The role will involve assisting with student supervision at break and lunchtimes. Forming positive relationships with specified students by supporting their learning in and out of the classroom with group or 1:1 work in guidance of the teacher. This role is a great opportunity for a graduate, former teaching assistant, care or youth worker looking for more responsibility and experience in supporting students. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be a calm, reliable individual who can work 1:1 with students. Some of these students may present with challenging behaviour, and therefore you must be confident working with this.
